Trade & commercial

Originals, on a UK invoice, hung by the deadline.

For boutique hotels, spa groups, restaurants and the designers specifying for them. You are buying original hand-painted works from a named artist — and a UK supplier who handles everything between his studio wall and yours.

01

Import handled

Sourced direct from the studio in Kata-Karon and shipped rolled in a sealed tube. Duty, paperwork and customs sit with us, not with your finance team.

02

UK invoice, UK VAT

A UK limited company raises the invoice and issues a UK VAT receipt. No foreign transfers, no exchange-rate line, no overseas supplier to onboard.

03

Framed to spec

Stretched or framed in the UK — tray frames, floats, box mouldings, or supplied rolled if your own framer is specified.

04

Delivered and installed

We deliver, hang, level and take the packaging away. Multi-room installs are sequenced to your programme and can work around opening hours.

05

One point of contact

One person, one number, one thread — from first mood-board through to the last picture hook. No agent, no importer, no chain to chase.

06

Matching sets

The studio can paint companion pieces in a shared palette for corridors, suites and repeated room types. See the commission page for how that runs.

Specification

The questions you are going to ask

Answered plainly, including the ones we cannot answer yet. Anything still being confirmed with the studio is marked as such on this page and reads On request on the piece itself, rather than being quietly left out.

  • Lead times

Four to five weeks from order to hung, for a piece already on the studio wall: roughly two weeks in transit, then UK framing and scheduling. Commissions and matching sets run five to seven weeks. Rolled-only supply is faster — usually two to three weeks.

  • Matching sets

Repeatable across room types. The studio paints companions in a shared palette rather than copies, so a twelve-room set reads as one commission and not as twelve prints. Whether a specific existing piece can be reproduced in an alternate colourway is currently being confirmed with the artist and is shown as On request until it is.

  • Fire certification

We are confirming the exact canvas and varnish specification with the studio before making any certification claim, so no piece on this site currently states a fire rating. Where a scheme requires certified substrates we will say so up front, and where necessary the work can be supplied rolled and stretched in the UK onto certified material. Ask and you will get a straight answer, not a shrug.

  • Invoicing & payment

UK limited company, UK bank, UK VAT receipt. Standard terms are a deposit on order with the balance on installation. Purchase-order references and project codes carry through onto the invoice.

  • Installation

Included on framed orders within mainland UK. We fit to plasterboard, brick and stud, and will work to a fixings schedule where one exists. Out-of-hours installation can be arranged for operating properties.

  • Sizes

Stock pieces run from around 40 × 50 cm to 150 × 200 cm. Beyond that, and for non-standard proportions such as long corridor panels, the studio paints to size.

  • Provenance

Every piece is an original from the Kata-Karon studio of Samran Thongkam — signed by the painter, one of one. We name the studio on every listing. Reverse-image-search anything here — it will lead you straight back to Kata-Karon, and that is deliberate.

The value we add is not access to the art. It is that you deal with one UK company, get one UK invoice, and someone turns up with a spirit level.

Where this works best

Lobbies and reception walls that need a single statement piece at scale. Restaurant and bar rooms where a gong or mandala form carries across a long wall. Spa corridors and treatment rooms that want quiet, tonal, textured work. Suites and repeated room types where a matched set beats a repeated print.

Where it does not

If you need forty identical pieces to an exact colour reference by next Friday, you need a print house, not a painter. We would rather say that at the first meeting than at the fourth.
