Kata-Karon, Phuket · Est. 1996
Thirty years of Thai hands, on your wall.
Original hand-painted works from the Kata-Karon studio of Samran Thongkam, where every canvas is signed by the hand that painted it. Sourced direct and finished for the UK — imported, framed, delivered and hung by us, on one UK invoice.
Provenance
A working studio, not a warehouse.
Samran Thongkam — Bao — has painted in Kata-Karon for three decades. Roughly a thousand original works sit in his studio, of which around a hundred and twenty have ever been photographed and listed.
Everything here is an original: paint on canvas, one of one, signed. Nothing on this site is a print, a reproduction or a licensed image. When a piece sells, it is gone — the closest you can get afterwards is a companion work from the same studio.
We are open about where the work comes from because being open is the professional position. Reverse-image-search anything here and you will find the studio. That is the point. What we add is the UK side: import, framing, delivery, installation, and one person who answers the phone.
What we do
The art is Bao's. The logistics are ours.
- Source
Direct from the studio, at studio prices. No gallery in between and no import agent taking a second margin.
- Import
Shipped rolled in a sealed PVC tube. Two weeks door to door, a route we have run and proven.
- Finish
Stretched or framed in the UK to your specification — mouldings, floats, tray frames, or left rolled.
- Install
Delivered, hung, levelled, packaging removed. For multi-room orders we work to your programme.
- Invoice
A UK company, a UK invoice and a UK VAT receipt. Your finance team never sees a foreign transfer.
